Tomatoes for the heart / information day

European research project invited to a first information day

Themed „Tomatoes for the heart“, LYCOCARD coordinator Dr. Volker Böhm and his team introduced the project goals to the public in Jena and sourrounding areas: In a multidisciplinary approach the complete way "from farm to fork" will be investigated during the next five years. The people had the chance to look into the planned research work, visit the laboratory and expand their knowledge on various tomato topics, including food tasting and recipes to take away.
